Hi there, Cici here!
We’ll be heading back to South Florida this weekend for Animate! Miami. If you’re in the area stop by and say hi!
Two Days Left for Epic Phoenixes
We’re down to the final days of the epic phoenix pin campaign. If you want a design, now is the time to pick one up!
The Wizard Cecil has been writing letters about his adventures in the phoenix realm. You can read them for free in the project updates.
MythFall: Behind the Scenes
I’ve been working on the script for MythFall issue #3 while issue #2 is with Allie Preswick for illustration.
Here is an example of her incredible talent for bringing my ideas to the page.

Comics on Kickstarter
Here’s a sample of some cool indie comics on Kickstarter this week.
Sîan: Thief of Khor-Shavarah #1
A double-sized sword & sorcery comic about the adventures of Sîan the Thief. A Conan-style adventure story with wizards, demons, and an adventure heroine for the ages. Sîan is down to it’s final hours, so if it looks cool back it today.
Tiny Dracula #1 - A Victorian Gothic Fantasy Melodrama
Tiny Dracula #1 is a playful re-imagining of Bram Stoker's classic novel, where Dracula’s overall size remains the same whether he’s in bat or human form. The result is that while this tiny version of Dracula still retains all of his traditional vampiric powers, his diminutive stature limits their impact. This campaign seems really fun, so if you’re a fan of horror/comedy, vampires, and especially Dracula, give this one a look.
Vampires on Mars Issue #3
I’ve been a big fan of the vampires in space subgenre ever since I played a World of Darkness game where we doomed humanity by opening a vampire portal on Pluto.
I’m also a big fan of the Vampires on Mars series specifically. It’s a sci-fi horror/comedy about a vampire hijacking a private space program to fulfill her dream of going to Mars. Humans can’t survive the trip, but vampires can! Aside from the vampires, the series is pretty grounded in science. Here’s a full review of Issue #1.
Dog Tax
Sometimes I ask Leia if she’s a good girl just to make sure her tail still works.
Wishing many naps in your future.
