I’m always looking for a good Sci-Fi to recommend. Fans of MythFall may enjoy Silo, a series we’ve been watching about a society surviving in an underground bunker after the outside world was ruined by a long-forgotten catastrophe. The silo was created by “The Founders” and governed by a set of rules known as “The Pact,” but what if it was all built on a lie?
We finished the first season of Silo this week and it had a terrific finale. I hope season 2 explores how humanity ended up inside the silo. The show is based on a book series by Hugh Howey, which I’m now curious to read.
Speaking of reading, we’ll be meeting in the Discord this Friday to discuss our book club pick for August: Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins. If you read it and would like to drop by for a spoiler-y discussion, here’s the link:
MythFall Issue #2 Inks
I have the first inks back from Allie Preswick for MythFall Issue #2. Because it’s been a while since I shared the pencils, here’s a peak behind the scenes how pages 1 and 2 evolved when going from pencils to inks.
Allie’s pencils are so gorgeous that I’m always surprised how much detail she can add with her inks. There will be more inked pages to share so stay tuned.
